UNIABUJA Students Protest Non Accreditation of Course Demands N10m Each
Medical students of the Univerity of Abuja has demand transfer from the institution.
The students who block the university entrance on monday said they are tired of lies
from the school authority concerning their accreditation.
They also demanded that the institution's authority should pay each students the sum of
N10 million for compensation. They students forther said that for over a decad, the course
(Medical) has not be acredited and the authority has not be sincere about it.
Due to the protest, the authorities were forced to cancel the exams.
Students are expected to write tomorrow's paper while that of Monday will be rescheduled.
It is uncertain how the examination procedures will be carried out while the anger is mounting,
targeted at the school's management. Some students, whose exams were affected,
have spoken about joining the protest in solidarity.
