Jackie Appiah Wins Best Actress At ‘African Oscars Awards’

Popular Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah grabed the Best Actress at the Nollywood & African Films Critics’ Awards, touted as the African Oscars. At the red-carpet event held at the legendary Warner Theatre in Washington D.C on September 14, the star beat others like Genevieve Nnaji, Iretiola Doyle, Beverly Naya and Mbufung Seikeh to the award.
The movie ‘Turning Point’ which featured Jackie was also one of the big winners of the night as it picked multiple awards.
