Ronaldo Signs New £40 Million Boot Deal With Nike

The Real Madrid superstar has just become the highest-paid footballer in history with a five-year deal which earns him £285,000 a week AFTER tax.

Now, he is expected to agree a new boot deal with Nike in the next few months.
His current agreement with the American sportswear company, worth £5m a year, expires in 2014.
Industry sources believe it will be replaced with a new deal worth £8m a year over five years.

Ronaldo, 28, then looks like being a global ambassador for Nike, just like tennis legend John McEnroe and basketball icon Michael Jordan, meaning he will rake even more money in.
