Finally, ICAN Accredits EKSU’s Accounting Course
As Ekiti State University, EKSU revels in its status as one of the best Universities in Nigeria, its B.Sc Accounting Programme of the Faculty of Management Sciences has again been accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). This followed the visitation exercise to the programme recently by the institute’s accreditation team
According to a letter sent by ICAN to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Oladipo Aina, the accreditation is for the duration of four (4) academic sessions with effect from 2012/2013 to 2015/2016.
The letter which was signed by the ICAN Director of Student Affairs, Mr John Edvondaghe contained a congratulatory message to the EKSU Vice-Chancellor on the development.
All programmes of EKSU including that of the Accounting Department are currently enjoying the National Universities Commission’s (NUC) accreditation.
