Ronaldo Says Roy Hodgson Is One Of 'The Greatest Managers In The World'

Brazilian World Cup legend Ronaldo heaps praise on England manager Roy Hodgson, but says his team will not win next year's tournament in Brazil.

The highest scorer in World Cup history backed England to do well in his homeland but wrote off their chances of winning the tournament.

Speaking during a visit to the Daily Telegraph's offices in London, the Brazil 2014 ambassador said: "If I had to say who'd win, it would be Brazil, Germany and Spain, in that order, and I'm very sorry not to include England.

"They have a very strong team, they also have a very good manager. I, of course, worked with their manager at Inter Milan."

Ronaldo added: "I think he is one of the greats. He is tactically very good, he likes the technical ability of his players, so he does rank amongst the greatest managers in the world."  Story: Telegraph
