Eng Dept of Unilag Plans Symposium For Achebe
The Department of English, University of
Lagos has concluded plans to organise a symposium in honour of the
late literary icon, Prof. Chinua Achebe.
A statement by the Assistant Registrar,
Information of UNILAG, Mr. Wale Olasunmade, stated that the symposium
scheduled for Thursday was titled “Chinua Achebe: His Works, His Ideas
and Contributions to Literature and the Diaspora.’
Speakers at the event include Prof. Akachi Ezeigbo and Dr. Adeyemi Daramola.
