IPASS donates books to schools in Delta
A community advocacy group, Igbide Patriotic Assembly, has donated
books to pupils in some communities in Delta State. The group also
called for the completion of abandoned Igbide/Umeh Road in the state.
A member of the group, Mr. Matthew Okuegha, who made the presentation on behalf of its President, Mr. Othuke Amata, said that the urge to provide service and contribute to the educational and social development of the communities informed the gesture.
The books were donated to all the pupils in lgbide Community of Isoko South Local Government area of Delta State. Other beneficiaries are the two secondary schools and seven primary schools in the community.
Okuegha pointed out that the group chose to embark on the project to sensitise the pupils on the importance of education which, he said, is the bedrock of every society.
